Impressive are the images from the multinational Air Exercise “Onioch 2025”, which began on Monday, March 31, 2025 and ended today, Friday, April 11, 2025.
The main hosting unit of the exercise was Andravida Air Base, where almost all of the foreign fighter aircraft were operating, while the majority of Air Force Fighters (PA) was operating from the 116th Battle Wing.
In “Oniochos 2025” a total of 12 countries participated, with the largest participation of air forces so far, from the principle of establishing the exercise as Invitex. Specifically, France participated with M-2000, the US with F-16, KC-46 and KC-135, the United Arab Emirates with M2000/9, India with Su-30s, Spain with F/A-18 Hornet, Israel with G-550, Italy with Tornado, Qatar with F-15 F-16 and Slovenia with PC-9. The PA participated with all types of its fighter aircraft, as well as helicopters, transport and training aircraft.
During the exercise, 1300 exits were completed throughout the range of FIR Athens.
The exercise also included forces of the Army of Land, the Navy and the Administration of Special War, which were crucial to the creation of complex and realistic scenarios. In addition, Cyprus, Bahrain and Slovakia participated in a group of observers.
During the “Innochos 2025” exercise, all kinds of air missions were executed, at a strong battle, day and night, covering all modern airlines in a series of complex scenarios of high realism. At the same time, missions were performed using the F-16s of the F-16s of the Squadron of Operational Synthetic Education of the KEAT, extending the exercise to the digital world.
