A criminal organization, whose members committed thefts and forgery of cars in various areas of Attica, was abducted by the organized crime.

For the deconstruction of the organization, there was a midday hours on Thursday, April 10, 2025, a coordinated police operation of the Division of Life and Owners 3 members arrested and arrested of the organization, including the lecturer.

They were charged with a criminal organization, a case-by-case case file, fracture, forgery, money laundering and weapons money, while the same case includes another identified person, detainees in a pre-operative center of detention.

It was preceded by an appropriate use of information, which was further analyzed that members had set up and joined a hierarchically structured and structured organization, with the aim of carrying out distinguished car thefts, which showed increased purchasing demand for the gaining of illegal economic benefit.

In terms of how modus operandi, members of the criminal organization:

  • were moving with ‘service‘ vehiclesmostly evening hours in various parts of Athens, looking for vehicles that met their criteria,
  • As soon as they located their target, they landed and violated it, using the necessary equipment they possessed,
  • They entered and put it in operation, and then transported it to a member of the organization or in the area of ​​Aigaleo, which they used as “Kavatzas”,
  • over the course of a period of time, in which they ensured that the vehicle has not been identifiedthey placed him Test Plates Releases and They were transported to the premises of the leader.

At the same time, the role of each member of the organization was also found:

  • 32 -year -old, leader of the organization, owner of Acharnes Trading Company and Vehicle and Paraskevi Storage in Kapandriti, had fully undertaken the operation of the organization, having secured the necessary infrastructure and the appropriate network,
  • 27 -year -old, owner of a vehicle lease in Koropi, one of the natural perpetrators of the theft, had undertaken the supply of his associates with vehicles, who used to move and escape them,
  • 21 -year -old and 25 -year -old, they had taken over the theft of vehicles.

From the investigations carried out, in total found and confiscated:

  • -40- refrigerators,

So far, they have been solved 22 cases of theft and 1 attempted vehicle theft, while the illegal economic benefit of the organization from its illegal activity exceeds 425,780 euros.

The detainees were led to the competent prosecutor’s office, while investigations into complete verification of the scope of their criminal activity are continuing.
