2,573 crackers of various types, naval flare, mobile phone and 3,100 euros have been held – the arrested person is taken to the competent prosecutor
The Department of Organized Crime of Crete, the Department of Organized Crime, was arrested today on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the area of Crete, a person who sold crackers in various areas of Greece, through covert media accounts.
Prior to the use of information, and the investigation conducted under the Public Prosecutor’s Office, as well as the assistance of the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, made it possible to verify the identity, home and other areas of the above.
From the investigations carried out at the house with the help of police officers from the Heraklion Police Department, 2,573 crackers of various types, naval flare, cellphone and 3,100 euros were found and confiscated.
These evidence will be sent for laboratory tests.
The detainee, with the case file formed against him for possession of incendiary and explosives, as well as for violations of flags and fireworks laws and weapons, is led to the competent prosecutor’s office.
