Its period Easterwhen we are chanting ” we always forgive it ” (Doctrine of the Feast of the Feast), how can we have negative emotions for others? Let us hold each other and lift each other with love, compassion, forgiveness and mercy. Because God first lifted us up to share this raising of love with everyone around us. Only then can we chant with fullness and unexplained joy in the triumphant Easter hymn “Christ risen from the dead, I died of death, and in the memory of life“, Points out in the Archdiocese for Easter by America Elpidoforos.

Christ Risen!

The greatest event in the history of the human race, that is, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ was held without the presence of witnesses that night. His crosses, who put guards to make sure that no one would touch the sealed stone that covered his tomb, only felt the earthquake and gave false testimony to the events of that night (Matt. 62-66). But the resurrected gentleman did not need to pour the stone and violate the stamp, as his resurrection exceeds any human logical understanding. The earthquake took place and the stone was struck by the angel solely for the deprived soldiers, myrrhs and the wonderful students.

The Church, with its divinely divine wisdom, offers us a representation of this moment in the image entitled “The Resurrection”. The most famous version of this image worldwide, which has inspired countless copies, is in the chapel of the country’s monastery in Istanbul. There, the glorious and resurrected gentleman of glory retrieves Adam and Eve from their graves, holding them not by the hand, but from the wrist. This dramatic detail of man’s redemption from death and Hades shows, as the Apostle Paul says, that “you are saved” (Ef. 2, 8). Because it is not out of our efforts to win eternal life. It is the sacrifice of the cross with its resurrection, which introduces us to the monasteries of heaven. God holds us with bright and loud love! It does not allow us to leave close to him and does not depend on our own strength to keep close to him. Because, as the Apostle again says, “the patient of God the most powerful of men” (1 Cor. 1: 25).

My dear Christians,

If God loves us, how do we have to love each other? During Easter, when we are chanting “we always forgive it” (Doctrine of the Orthodox celebration), how can we have negative emotions for others? Let us hold each other and lift each other with love, compassion, forgiveness and mercy. Because God first lifted us up to share this raising of love with everyone around us. Only then can we chant the triumphant Easter Hymn “Christ ascended from the dead, I am killed by the triumphant Easter, and in the memory of life”.

Christ Risen!
