In Traffic regulations ELAS will proceed to Athens, today Thursday 24 March and tomorrow, Friday 25 March, due to the military and student parade, to celebrate National Anniversary of March 25.
In particular, according to the Police, stopping and parking will be gradually banned, as well as the traffic of vehicles, as follows:
Thursday 24.03.2022:
– From 06.00 until the end of the events of March 25, in the following streets and in their perpendiculars up to the first parallel street:
- Achilles, in the section between pl. Karaiskaki and Thermopylon Street in both (2) traffic streams.
- Lenorman, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
- Zucchini, along its entire length.
- Vourvachi, along its entire length.
- Petmeza, along its entire length.
- Kallirois, in the section between ave. Vouliagmenis and Petmeza street, traffic flow from ave. Vouliagmenis to Frantzis.
- Karolou, along its entire length in both traffic streams.
- Marni, along its entire length in both traffic streams.
- Anth / st St. Regkou, along its entire length in both traffic streams.
– From 10.00 until the end of the events of the same day, on the following boulevards and streets, as follows:
- Vas. Amalias Avenue, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
- Vas. Sofias Avenue, in the section between Sekeri Street and Ave. Vas. Amalias, in the traffic stream to Sq. Constitution.
- Vas. Georgiou See its entire length.
- El. Venizelou (University), along its entire length.
- Vas. Olgas Avenue, along its entire length. In particular, the stopping and parking of vehicles on Ave. Vas. Olgas, will not be allowed from 06.00 ΄ on 24/3 until the end of the military parade on 25/3.
- L. Syggrou, in the section between Ath. Diakou and Dion streets. Areopagitou, in the traffic stream to Sq. Constitution.
End, from 12.00 to 19.30 on 25/3 on the anonymous road that leads from the Lycabettus Ring to the Lycabettus hill.
Friday 25.03.2022:
– From 06.00 until the end of the events of the military parade, in the following boulevards and streets and in their verticals until the first parallel street:
- Vas. Sofias Avenue, in the section between Vas. Konstantinos and Vas. Amalias avenues and in the two (2) traffic streams.
- Ηρ. Attiko, along its entire length.
- Vas. Georgiou BD, along its entire length.
- Vas. Georgiou AD, along its entire length.
- Vas. Amalias Avenue, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
- El. Venizelou (University), along its entire length.
- Sq. Omonia.
- Piraeus, in the section between pl. Omonia and Iera Odos in both (2) traffic streams.
- Athena, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
- St. Constantine, along its entire length.
- Sq. Karaiskaki.
- October 28 (Patision), in the section between El. Venizelou (University) and ave. Alexandras in both (2) traffic streams.
- Th. Diligianni, in the section between Sq. Karaiskaki and I. Metaxa Street in both (2) traffic streams.
- Sq. Constitution.
- Philhellenes, along its entire length.
- Stadium, along its entire length.
- L. Syggrou, in the section between Am. Frantzis and Dion. Areopagitou in both (2) traffic streams.
- Academy, along its entire length.
- Vas. Olgas Avenue, along its entire length.
- Ath. Diakou, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
At the same time, they are making modifications to the itineraries metro and tram.
In particular, according to an announcement by STASY SA:
-Tram routes will have a temporary terminal:
On Line 6 “Pikrodafni – Syntagma” the “Fix” stop on Thursday, March 24 from 8 in the morning and on Friday, March 25 from the beginning of traffic until the end of the parades.
On Line 7 “Asklipieio Voulas – Akti Poseidonos” on Friday, March 25, the stop “Old Town Hall” from 11 am to 1 pm and the stop “Chef” from 8 am to 1:30 pm.
-The Metro station “Syntagma” by order of EL.AS. will be closed on Friday, March 25 from the beginning of the traffic until the end of the parade and the trains will pass through it without stopping.
