The perpetrators were mainly hitting temples in areas of the prefecture of Larissa, as well as in areas of Trikala and Thessaloniki, as well as shops – businesses in the wider area of ​​Larissa. Three nationals were arrested in Larissa for the thefts, at the expense of which – as well as at the expense of other four identified nationals, one of whom, one minor, and their unknown associates – a case file, where appropriate, for the offenses of the distinguished, and in the case of distinguished theft and theft, Foreign property wear.

In particular, according to a police statement, during the evening of 21-04-2025 in Larissa, the three arrested, occupants in a car, attempted to break the entrance of the city’s chapel of the city, but were perceived and fled. Following the searches of police officers, their vehicle was found parked in the area of ​​the city at noon on April 22, and the detainees on board were stopped.

A search carried out in the vehicle found and seized burglaries, clothing and footwear, hat, gloves, full face hoods, two collars, bag and two cell phones.

In terms of their operation, as emerged from the police investigation, during the period, at least from mid -February until April 22, five of the perpetrators, of which three arrested were organized with each other and covered their characteristics, either by breaching doors or windows or windows. their sale as recyclable metal. In addition, during the same period, they also committed theft-brokerage from shops, businesses and cooperatives.

In total, the perpetrators made 49 attempts to theft (41 committed and eight attempts), of which 39 in temples in areas of Larissa prefecture, from one to churches in Trikala and Thessaloniki and eight in shops, businesses and cooperatives in the wider area of ​​Larissa.

The detainees were led to the Larissa Criminal Prosecutor, while the Larissa Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Criminal Criminal Criminal Court is investigating any involvement of the perpetrators in other similar offenses.
