Criminal investigation has been ordered by the Prosecutor – the Deputy Mayor claims that this area does not belong to the jurisdiction of the municipality
A preliminary examination for the attribution of any criminal liability with regard to the incident of an injury of the 2 -year -old boy yesterday afternoon in Oreokastro, Thessaloniki, was ordered by the prosecutor.
The baby boy, which was struck by a gateway with an artificial lake in Oreokastro, Thessaloniki, was injured in the head and transported to provide first aid to Papageorgiou Hospital, where he is still hospitalized, without his life.
Following a lawsuit filed by the child’s parents (originally from Ukraine), the Deputy Mayor of Oreokastro was arrested and brought to the prosecutor in the morning. In view of the criminal investigation ordered by the prosecutor, he was released.
The crime being investigated in the context of the investigation is that of bodily harm by debtor.
The deputy mayor claims that this area does not belong to the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Oreokastro and although granted to the Municipal Authority, the registration process is pending, with the request being filed at the beginning of this month.
Under these circumstances, the public prosecutor requested that all documents be submitted to the course of this application at the Thessaloniki Land Office, and will be invited to submit an unnecessary official of the Hellenic State Real Estate Company.
He also requested that the expertise and medical documents be submitted to the physical injury suffered by the child.
