On the central theme “The Eastern Mediterranean in the Village of Geopolitical Changes”, Geopolitical Developments – European Defense – Energy Security – Islands – Interculturalism, the “Nisyros Dialogues” are held for the 4th year from July 3 to 6 July 2025 in the volcano.
The announcement of the themes of this year’s “Nisyros Dialogues” marks the start of the countdown to the established summer appointment in the heart of the eastern Mediterranean.
This year’s central theme reflects the liquidity and strategic importance of the area, and the complex challenges that determine it by putting the focus of the dialogue the most up -to -date issues that shape the wider economic and geopolitical environment.
With the participation of high -level guests from Greece and abroad, they will be at the heart of the dialogue of high importance and current issues such as:
● Geopolitics of the Eastern Mediterranean
● Energy Security & Conflicts – Climate Crisis & Resistance
● island, digital transformation and new economy
● Eastern Mediterranean interculturalism
● Artificial Intelligence, Space Economy, and GEO-Guyerne Security
High -level entries
The “Nisyros Dialogues” are under the permanent auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarch. Bartholomew and annually under the auspices of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic. Governments, the academic community, the business world, the civil society, as well as the reputable journalists from Greece and abroad, are involved.
It is recalled that the “Dialogues of Nisyros 2024” had been a platform from which Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented the government’s initiatives to develop the islands, including the electrical interconnection of the Dodecanese, the establishment of the Fund Fund of the Islands.
Configuration of policies and actions
Like every year, “dialogues” are not limited to recording and finding problems as they go ahead: they detect risks and detect opportunities and discuss strategies and action plans that affect the wider area.
The “Nisyros Dialogues” 2025 promise for another year to be a reference point for the study, reflection and highlights of strategic solutions to the great geopolitical and social issues of our time.
