The electoral process is smoothly evolved into AUTH, PAMAK and DIPAE
Students come to the ballots to elect representatives to the boards of the clubs of the Departments and Schools in the morning.
The electoral process, which began early in the morning, progresses smoothly into AUTH, PAMAK and DIPAE. By noon the turnout – as is customary – was sluggish, and is expected to increase in the following hours and until the end of the vote.
Participation up to this time is estimated at about the same level as last year -in some schools slightly increased, in others slightly reduced.
Students who come to the polls should show the Electoral Committee with an official identification document (identity, passport or driving license) in order to be able to vote.
The vote is secret and the candidates are selected with crosses, the number of which differs depending on the Department or the School. The results of the student elections are expected to be announced in the evening, and for years each line is made its own accounting.
Representatives of the student factions have gathered in tables outside the amphitheater, where the electoral process is being carried out, and distribute students to students with the positions and proposals of the candidates. The pre -election agenda is dominated by issues related to the application of the law on the deletion of students who have exceeded the ceiling of attendance, recently announced by the leadership of the Ministry of Education at the Rector’s Summit for the fight against violence, The Tempe’s accident.
The ballots in most sections opened at 7am and will close at 7pm, which, however, was not binding and in various sections differentiated up to one hour later, with a provision from the student club. The courses of the day have been postponed, as school classrooms have been allocated by universities in order to facilitate the electoral process and to ensure the uninterrupted participation of students.
