A real ‘voiture à vivre’, the Renault 16 was designed to stand out from the competition. It was released in 1965 and introduced a new body style for the first time, with access to the trunk, as in a hatchback. It covered the needs of families looking for a car that fits their lifestyle, and in line with the rapid social changes of the time.

Since then, Renault has continued to pioneer by presenting family cars that caught the pulse of their time. This happened in the 1980s with Espace, a car that, with its innovative design and flexible interior layout, triggered a car revolution. In the 1990s, Renault again did it with Scénic, the first compact MPV. Designed to look like a “living capsule”, Scénic had an interior designed with the prosperity of passengers.

Renault Symbioz has the same DNA. With the ability to adjust the space, luggage and passengers, to the needs of a family, with useful technologies that offer human value added and compact dimensions that are ideal for driving in the city, it is part of a wide range of flexible cohabitation vehicles (“Voitures à Vivre”). By projecting Renault’s new design language, Renault Symbioz is designing design with electric scénic e-tech and Captur.

Renault Symbioz incorporates Renault’s best technologies. It has the OpenR Link multimedia system with Google built -in features as well as the Solarbay sunroof.

With the capacity of the luggage compartment reaching 624 liters – a unique car price of this size – and with articulated interior configuration thanks to the sliding rear seat, which folds by creating a completely flat loading floor, the Renault Symbioz is among its top models.

And all this while maintaining the dimensions and flexibility that its compact body is provided.
