At the heart of the event was the campaign “50 dreams. A tomorrow full of love, care, security »which draws inspiration from the long and important course of the organization and, above all, the power of the people who are his heart.
The Communications Director of SOS Children’s Villages, Nairi Peltegian, It presented the central idea of the campaign, which will consist of exactly 50 different creative materials and will bring these people to the forefront. Through 50 personal testimonies of workers, volunteers, supporters and beneficiaries, SOS Children’s Villages open a dialogue for the future: A future where every child grows up with the care, love and protection he deserves. A future where no child will feel alone. Their stories will unfold throughout the year, evolve and enriched.
A special moment of the event was the presentation of the first stories of the campaign made by the participants themselves. People who have grown up, worked or support the SOS Children’s Villages, attended the event and first shared their own memories and their own dreams.
OR Annie Katsoulithe first worker of the organization, a social worker and for decades responsible for the mothers of SOS in the SOS Vari Children’s Village, he moved the public by describing the first infants who were transferred to the village: “We were carrying babies hug … this time he defined me and I have given me a promise.”

In Greece, SOS Children’s Villages were founded in 1975. With the aim of raising each child to grow up in a family they implement programs and actions on three axes:
(a) Family strengthening, with 9 child and family support centers and learning and pedagogical support programs throughout Greece and aiming to remedy the dysfunctions within the family and prevent the risk of removing children from the context Committee,
