Referring with its aesthetics to the passenger EV of the Ford range, the cabin of the new e-transit courier also adopts an innovative digital complex consisting of a 12-inch diagonal display and a 12-inch central touch screen, also supported by the top Ford SYNC 4. For seamless communication and connectivity, Android Auto and Apple Carplay wireless compatibility is standard.
The interior of the e-transit courier is on the side of every professional, offering high transport capabilities. It is noteworthy that the width between the rear wheel domes has increased to 1,220 mm in the past, ensuring the Ford Pro compact van the ability to carry two Europeans. The total volume of the loading area is 2.9 m3, a price higher by 25% than the outgoing generation. Also, the maximum useful load and towing weight is up to 620 kg and 750 kg.
The new Ford e-transit courier is an advanced, connected and spacious van that is able to travel up to 300 km between recharge, using a 100 kW of maximum power and a 43 kWh lithium-ion battery. Charging 10-100% with the built-in AC 11 kW charger takes about 5.3 hours. For efficient charging at public stations, the new e-transit courier also offers a speedy DC charging of up to 100 kW, adding about 100 km of autonomy in just 10 minutes and ensuring the battery’s energy from 10% to 80% of its capacity in about 23 minutes.
