Marathon mobilization at El. Venizelos’ owners and taxi drivers in Attica, which are today in a 48 -hour strike.

Their procession started early at noon from Athens Avenue and moved from Kifissos, Attica Odos to reach the parking lot of the taxi, in the shopping park, next to the international airport. From there, with small buses they moved to the airport. Arriving, they made a short course in arrivals and approached the point where IX (van) were stationed, with SATA President Thymio Luberopoulos, saying that “they will remain on the spot until Traffic Police controls, because this is illegal”. Then they began to shout slogans such as “the taxi is here, united possible”, but also against Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Konstantinos Kyranakis. Mr Kyranakis blames the “illegal plate”, as they say, of Uber, which operates at the airport. Taxi drivers and owners immediately went to the point where Uber vehicles were stationed, where they informed tourists about their protest and the problems they face.

It is recalled that SATA and SOTA moved to the airport to protest the “conditions of unfair competition promoted by the administration of the DAA. “EL.
