Hired lawyers can now apply online and without any hassle. granting maternity allowanceaccording to an announcement by e-EFKA.
Specifically, the insured enter the service, entering the personal taxisnet codes and submit their application for maternity benefit (pregnancy-maternity) in the service “Electronic Application for Maternity Allowance” or through the website of www.eef gov.gr), by selecting: Electronic Services → El. Professionals (https://www.efka.gov.gr/el/elektronike-aitese-choregeses-epidomatos-metrotetas) or through the Single Digital Portal of Public Administration (gov.gr) in the section Family-> Birth.
Through this electronic service, all the required supporting documents are obtained automatically, through the interconnection of e-EFKA with the Citizens’ Register and the Electronic Prescribing of IDIKA.
In case they have submitted a handwritten application for maternity allowance and have sent a relevant request and supporting documents to the General Directorate of Benefits and Health, they have the opportunity to submit an electronic application in parallel with the above procedure.
The only condition is that the birth has occurred, after 06/12/2021 and was preceded by the electronic version of the certificate of probable date of birth by the obstetrician-gynecologist, who is certified with the Electronic Prescribing System of IDIKA.
In detail, the steps for the application process for salaried lawyers are as follows:
– the insured enters the service, using the taxisnet codes,
– then, upon submission of the application, declares its AMKA, registers the e-mail address, as well as the IBAN,
– then, selects on a case by case basis the Health Sector of Lawyers (Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki and Provinces) of the former Single Fund of Self-Employed (Legal Insurance Sector), to which the insured belongs. It then enters the identification details of the medical certificate of probable date of birth and the details of the employer,
– in the next step, the employer of the insured is informed by the e-EFKA Service by e-mail, in order, within 15 days, to enter the e-EFKA online service to complete the certificate of absence from work.
It is pointed out that the electronic application of the paid lawyers insured by e-EFKA is submitted within eight months from the date of birth of the child.
