Developments in the case of Maria Karystianou’s complaint about threats she received for her and her son by a former judge.

According to police sources, the former judge who is alleged is the key person in the case was identified and called for men from the Organized Crime Management Directorate.

Their meeting had taken place in early June in a cafeteria of the Areos, while Mrs Karystianou, although denounced the threats against her, refused to name him.

Security men, however, took advantage of video material from the point where the meeting took place, thus reaching the identity of the former judge who – always with the complaint of Mrs Karystianos – conveyed information to her that her life and her son were in danger.

As it was known by ELAS, Mrs Karystianou’s complaint was made on June 10 when he went to the Security Directorate of Organized Crime.

There she had mentioned threats that were said to be orally by a man on 9/6/2025 during her meeting with 2 persons, whose evidence refused to give to the service.

Mrs Karystianou had not given data on the police officer, who, as she claimed in her deposition, said the two persons she encountered, threats to her son.
