Moments of absolute panic unfolded on Monday in a large hotel complex in Ilia, when a 5 -year -old baby boy was found at the bottom of the pool.
The child pulled out of the pool without his senses, a resident of the hotel, he was given first aid by a friendly person of his parents who knew CPR and was taken to the Pyrgos Nursing Unit, where he would remain for 72 hours.
As the mother of the child who spoke to ilialive.gr complains, at that time the hotel’s lifeguard was not in his post and later appeared from the beach area when the little kid had already begun to meet.
Everything happened when at some point, the child using the water slide changed direction from the one his father was waiting for him and found himself elsewhere in the pool.
Because of the crowds, the father was unable to see the child’s movement in another place and the dive that almost cost him life.
A resident of the hotel, the child realized at the bottom of the pool and immediately pulled it to the surface. Followed by panic scenes, and in lack of lifeguardfirst aid provided parents’ friendly person knowing technical CPR.
At that time, the good news was that the hotel was also in the company a physician, who took care of the child until an ambulance of EKAB arrived at the Pyrgos Hospital.
