Taste SP has Asian snacks and class of chef Dona Carmem Virginia this Friday

The ninth edition of Taste SP arrives on the last weekend from this Friday (27). The 28 participating bars and restaurants continue selling special dishes.

At the Ototo booth, chef’s restaurant Thiago Bañares, there are four dishes with different types of dumplings and oriental rolls. The highlight is the shrimp wonton with chives, cooked and accompanied by sauce with Chile Crunch. The dish comes with five units and leaves for $ 55. The menu also has pork and splashed Gyoza (R $ 45), chicken harumaki, shiitake, niá and harusame noodles (R $ 45) and pork shumai, onion and ostra sauce (R $ 55).

This weekend, chef Tássia Magalhães has news on the menu: chicken rice with pea, saffron and garlic farofa ($ 45) and creamy basil pesto rice ($ 40), vegetarian option. The famous Mag Market chocolate cake follows on the menu for $ 40, as well as the Biro Bira rice (R $ 45), from the extinct laugh.e.ria.

This Friday, chef Raquel Ferraz opens the class program. She teaches how to prepare brigadeiro with Parmesan cheese. The class takes place at the booth kitchen chat from 6.30 pm and registration is made half an hour before.

Another highlight is the class of Pernambuco chef Dona Carmem Virginia, from Altar Ancestral Kitchen. She returns to the festival to teach a recipe for Jollof rice, a typical West Africa dish that takes shrimp broth, tomatoes, peppers and herbs such as coriander. The session starts at 8:30 pm at the Fire Pit space.

Taste is a gastronomic festival present in 11 countries – and in Brazil its largest audience. The participating restaurants and bars were selected by curator Luiz Americo Camargo and serve a menu with dishes of their menus, as well as an exclusive recipe for the event. The portions cost between $ 25 to $ 55.
