Special excursion to central highways of Southeast Attica, attended by police officers of the Traffic Control and Prevention Groups (OEPTA) of the Attica Traffic Division, OPKE, DIASA, DIAI June 28th until the early morning hours of June 29th as part of targeted actions and tranquil controls of the Attica Traffic Directorate with a particular emphasis on preventing improvised races, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
More specifically, 1,076 checks were carried out on the central highways of Southeast Attica (Avenue Poseidon, Ave Alimos, Athens-Sounio Avenue) and 266 violations were confirmed, such as, for example, for improvised races, dangerous maneuvers.
In addition, deductions of 37 driving licenses, 18 traffic licenses and 37 government plates were made.
According to police, checks will continue with the same intensity and will be carried out in areas of Attica that have increased and dangerous offenses.
