The criminal group, whose members committed distinguished thefts against co -conspiracy and continued shops in the areas of Koropi and Glyfada, was dismantled by the Department of Prosecution and Criminal Crimes.

In the context of investigating recorded theft cases in stores in the areas of Koropi and Glyfada, a special group of police officers were set up by the Department of Prosecution and Explanation of Criminal Crimes, who, after a combinatorial evaluation of information and evidence, found in the morning (2/7). Koropiou, as well as 3 other members of the 35, 38 and 51 -year -old criminal group, and their criminal activity was certified, accused of all for distinguished thefts and continuously.

How did they act

According to the pre -trial investigation, the defendants had set up and joined a criminal group, at least since May of this year, with the aim of conducting thefts and consequently the gaining of illegal assets.

In terms of their way, the team members, acting with a different composition and alternating roles, alone or in groups of both, with the obvious purpose of making it difficult to identify and arrest them, mainly evening hours, either by violating the central shops, or by offshore, as well as various objects, and in many cases they also removed means of transport that belonged to these stores.

It is noteworthy that the members of the group maintained friendly relationships and moved regularly from one house to another in order to make it difficult to identify them.

Solved 11 cases of theft – 5 on the same day

The pre-trial investigation has been resolved by 11 cases of stores from shops in the areas of Koropi and Glyfada, with 5 of these being held on the same day (1-7-2025).

It is noted that the defendants have been concerned with the authorities for similar offenses, while the 35 -year -old has been arrested in the past under a warrant for joining a criminal organization committing theft and robberies.

The detainees were referred to the competent prosecutor at the expense.
