Scenes … panic unfolded on Friday afternoon in Kakovatos Zacharo, when a 48 -year -old alien, a national Albanian national who was illegally in the country, attempted to grab a minor baby girl, just four years old, through her arms.
The incident occurred near the beach, where the mother (Greek descent), her sister and her grandmother’s grandmother had gone for a quiet walk with the children.
According to Patrisnews, the 48 -year -old was unexpectedly attacked by the woman, attempting to violently get her child. She struggled to hold her daughter tightly as her sister and their mother rushed to the perpetrator to stop him.
The screams of panic and resistance also mobilized a professional in the area, who rushed to the scene to help.
The perpetrator, seeing the reaction and the growing number of attendees, fled and hid in an adjacent forest.
Immediately, police and police officers from the Zacharos Department were notified, launched a manhunt.
The 48 -year -old was identified, arrested and taken to the Public Prosecutor of Ilia.
Indeed, during his arrest, the perpetrator resisted, violently repelring police officers.
