The CAA is one of the few air navigation providers worldwide with a privately owned aircraft and a specialized unit for “air controls” (AEA) of the air navigation procedures and systems. The aircraft is the Cessna Citation-X C750-the fastest business jet in the world-specially adapted for this role. The relevant services are provided, in addition to the internal needs of the CAA, in both the Air Force and the Republic of Cyprus.

Upon completion of maintenance work, the aircraft successfully carried out an Acceptance Flight Testing Flight, at which it reached its maximum operational height, reaching 50,000 feet.
