The trial of a doctor, who is accused of killing his 15 patients with deadly injections and acting as a “Lord of Life and Death” to those who took care, began in Germany today.

The case has shocked Germany as it is reminiscent of that of the notorious nurse – Serial Killer Nils Hogel, who was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 85 patients.

The 40 -year -old consulting specialist, named after the German media as Johannes M., is alleged to kill 12 women and 3 menbetween September 2021 and July 2024, while working in Berlin.

The doctor is accused of making injections in the victims, aged between 25 and 94 years oldwith deadly calming cocktails. In fact, in some cases set fire to their homesto cover his crimes.

The calming cocktail “paralyzed the respiratory muscles, leading to respiratory opposition and death in a matter of minutes.”

In five cases, Johannes M. allegedly set fire to the victims’ apartments after injections.

In one case, he is accused of killing two patients on the same day.

‘He behaved as the master of life and death’

The defendant had ‘visited his patients with PDrink for the provision of medical care“, Prosecutor Philip Meihofer said today at the start of the Berlin trial.

Johannes M. had organized “home visits, already intentional to kill” and took advantage of the confidence of his patients, Maichofer said.

‘He acted with indifference to life and behaved as the master of life and death“The prosecutor still stressed.

The case was revealed last July, when a Johannes M. colleague began to wonder why so many of the 40 -year -old patients had died in fires.

The doctor was finally arrested last August, with prosecutors initially connecting him with four deaths.

However, subsequent investigations revealed a number of other suspicious cases, and in April prosecutors have charged Johannes M. for 15 categories of homicide.

Prosecutors said the 40 -year -old “had no incentive, beyond the murder” and were demanding life imprisonment.

Suspect and for the death of his sick mother -in -law

Another 96 cases are still being investigated, including the death of his mother -in -law Johannes M., as a representative of the Berlin prosecutor’s office in AFP said.

The woman was mysteriously died on the same weekend that Johannes M. and his wife went to visit her in Poland in early 2024, according to media reports.
