From next Monday, July 21, the Patras Forensic Service will be reopened, which had been suspended by a decision of the Minister of Justice since July 10.
The service will reopen with two new forensic experts.
More specifically, the forensic doctor Andreas Gotsis and the Head of Secretariat of the same service, Stavros Arvanitakis, who were responsible for the operation of the Service, were suspended in the previous days, and in particular for the archives of the Forensic Exhibition.
Both were responsible for the operation of the Service, but also in terms of compliance with forensic reports, which were found incomplete during the on -the -spot unexpected inspection of the Ministry of Justice’s executives.
As is well known, Mr. Gotsis had conducted the original forensic report for two of the infants confessed by Irene Mourtzoukou that he was killing, as well as for little Panagiotakis, for whom the finding of his death is expected. In all three cases, Mr Gotsis had reached pathological causes.
