With heavy sentences (up to 16 years in prison) the trial of the four young men accused of the bloody clash in August 2024 on the beach of Rachon in Fthiotida.
Late on Friday night, and after four long meetings, the Lamia Mixed Court of Justice ruled guilty All 4 defendants, by the majority and, where appropriate, for a number of offenses, attributing their fanatical -athletic backgrounds to their actions.
The heaviest sentence was imposed a 20 -year -old from Thessaloniki, who was found guilty of attempted homicide, unlawful weapons, arson, threat and participation in a clash. He was imposed a sentence of imprisonment 16 years of age and 3 months and a fine of EUR 3,000, with no deer -recognition.
Another 20 -year -old from Thessaloniki, found guilty of simple synergy in attempted homicide and dangerous bodily harm, was imposed a penalty of imprisonment 8 years old and 9 months oldby identifying the deduction of earlier legal life.
The 27 -year -old Lamiotis was found guilty of dangerous bodily harm, gun possession, weapons, weapon, threat and clash. He was identified with the later good -looking mitigating and sentenced to imprisonment 6 years of age and 10 months.

There was also a fifth defendant in the case, who was tried separately as a minor.
It is worth noting that the court did not give a suspensive nature to the penalties, nor did it have been suspended in the appeal, resulting in all convicts being brought to detention facilities.
The four main defendants were initially detained, but then – for the three of them, all from Thessaloniki – the temporary detention was replaced on restrictive terms.
By the court ruling, they are now returning to prison to serve the sentences that have been imposed.
The wild clash on the races
The bloody episode unfolded at dawn on August 11, 2024, on the beach of Fthiotida.
According to the case file, the defendants attacked a group of young people from Stylida, with two young people, aged 21 and 18, be taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
In addition, a minor and a 48 -year -old were also attacked and transferred to the area’s health center.
