The apologies were long before Lamia’s investigator of those arrested in the long -running case related to drug trafficking and cultivation in the wider area of Lokrida.

After their apologies, three of the detainees were in custody, including the 61 -year -old municipal councilor, who is reportedly considered a “brain” of the circuit.

More specifically, they were in custody:

  • The 61 -year -old self -governing,
  • His 33 -year -old son,
  • A 36 -year -old Albanian, a worker on his premises.

Their apologies lasted more than six hours, with the case file being considered particularly bulky.

Another 47 -year -old stakeholder remains a guard at the CAT Hospital, after attempted suicide, and has not yet testified. The charge of him is also about drug -related criminal acts.

Meanwhile, a 27 -year -old 61 -year -old’s nephew – accused only of trafficking, was released on restrictive terms: a ban on leaving the country and presence once a month at the police station of his place of residence.

The findings

The investigation by the Lamia Crimes Prosecution Division had begun for months, with police monitoring the team’s moves and recording dozens of suspicious communications allegedly related to drug trafficking.

According to the business, the authorities identified and seized:

  • 14.6 kg of raw cannabis,
  • 164 seedlings in two illegal plantations and one greenhouse within a 61 -year -old business,
  • Cultivation equipment, fertilizers, pesticides and electronic scales,
  • Large number of weapons and knives (6 hunting, handguns, replica, knives, swords, swords),
  • Four vehicles (2 cars, 2 trucks), two bicycles and money.

The case is expected to deal with both the judicial authorities and the local community next time, as some of those involved had a significant social and professional presence in the region.
