By decision of the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou (Government Gazette: YDDD 957/29.07.25) Temporary Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NPD “Hellenic Land Registry” is defined by agronomist and topographic engineer Thanos Lipas.
The new president has many years of experience in the field of topographic studies and the Land Registry, and since 2023 he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Land Registry, knowing in depth the needs of the body.

Thanos Lipas is a farmer and surveyor engineer, a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s Engineering School and holder of a study degree in topographic and plumbing categories. Since 1998 he has been active in the field of topography, urban planning and cadastral studies, having initially worked as an engineer in a cadastral company and then as a Town Planning Engineer. Since 2003 he has been working as a freelance professional, specializing in the construction of private construction projects, the drafting of topographic studies and applications for private and public bodies, as well as in cadastral works and implementing operations. At the same time he has assumed important administrative roles, such as Vice President of the Board of Directors. of TEMAK SA Since 2005, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Land Registry from 2023 and Chairman of the Committee on Monitoring, Supervision and Receipt of Local Planning Plans of the Municipality of Trikkaia. He has also served as a member of the TEE Prefectural Committee, 2016-2019.
