Strong forces in the extinguishing operation
A total of 28 firefighters were thrown into the battle with the flames, including a hiking section of the 5th EME, with the assistance of 9 vehicles and 4 aircraft operating by air.
In addition, aquifers of Local Government Organizations (OTAs) have been put to the disposal of the Fire Brigade, supporting the extinguishing task.
The forces remain in full readiness, while local authorities are calling on citizens to be alert and to follow the guidelines to protect their lives and property.
