Confronted with two resuscitation in the suburban forest in the old Philippiada and in the Gorgomilos, firefighters and residents came in the afternoon, but air throws were effective and the fire extinguished.

The affected areas were visited by PASOK with the party secretary Andreas Spyropoulos, where he had meetings with citizens and local agencies.

The Regional Authority of Epirus, in a statement, expresses its warm thanks to the staff of the Fire Service, the Police, the EKAB, the Hospitals, the Municipalities, the Civil Protection of Region and Regional Units, the Forestry and the Volunteers.
Epirus Regional Governor Alexander Kachmanis, in his statement, states, inter alia:
“The full registration of the – case – competent services is expected to begin shortly after the completion of the extinguishing project of all the petty -bourgeoisies for which eight aircraft are acting yesterday and this morning, as I was able to see on the spot.
Investigative services are already conducting investigations to determine the causes and identify those responsible for the almost simultaneous outbreak of homes in neighboring areas. We also expect the results, as well as the announcements of the Fire Department, in which the responsibility (and of the information) on civil protection issues has entered.
The Region of Epirus, once again, calls on all citizens to be very careful in the work they are doing in the countryside and is appealing to all landowners to do even now in their cleaning in order to spend the rest of the firefighting period. “
