In Chios and Zakynthos, in the last days, there are scales of the Directorate-General for Natural Disaster Impact Rehabilitation (GDAEFK) in recent days, where, along with the other regional units (Achaia, Preveza-‘Arta), which were affected by the great fires.
As it became known by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, the autopsies are carried out using the digital application of Digispect, which greatly facilitates the work of engineers, allowing faster introduction of rapid autopsy and safe collection and processing of data from the field.
According to statistics in the last 24 hours, the results of autopsy on the affected municipal communities are as follows:
In Chios:
Volissos Municipal Community:
– 1 building characterized green,
– 2 buildings were described yellow,
-1 building was characterized red.
Nea Potamia Municipal Community:
– 1 building was characterized red.
In Zakynthos:
– Municipal Community of Agala: 4 buildings were characterized green, 8 yellow
– Lithakia Municipal Community: 1 Green, 1 Yellow
The autopsies continue and the results are constantly updated as the scales extend their action to all points affected.
In his statement, the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Costas Katsafados, said: “All DAEFK Departments have been activated. Throughout Greece, with staff distributed according to the needs found in each region for the fastest possible response. At the same time, we remind citizens of the affected areas that it is necessary to be in their homes in order for the scales to carry out the necessary checks without delay. “
