The perpetrator of the wild assassination of his wife this morning in Volos remains unbeaten until this time.
The 40 -year -old of Albanian descent killed his 36 -year -old wife in front of their children, nailing a knife to her throat and back after a strong fight they had.
The unfortunate woman tried to escape his hands by leaving the apartment by running to the exit of the apartment building in order to escape, but failed. The perpetrator then fled and the older daughter of the family alerted EKAB and ELAS.
Officers who arrived at the scene saw the 36 -year -old in a pool of blood, while the couple’s 16 -year -old daughter told police that there was a big fight, but did not know the reason.
According to neighbors’ deposits collected by security men, early in the morning the couple had a strong argument and voices were heard from the apartment.
A neighbor from a neighboring apartment testified that the quarrels were constant and nothing predicted what happened today. According to police sources, there was no previous complaint from the victim of domestic violence and the perpetrator was a drug user.
