AS Karditsa Japanese announces Michalis Liapis’ accession to the men’s roster.
The 30 -year -old (born November 11, 1995) and 1.92 Greek athlete, is competing as a guard and already joined our team.
Basketball started at PAOK Academies and in 2011 at the age of 16, joined the men’s “biceps” team of North, where he competed in the Greek Championships and European competitions until 2016.
In 2016 he moved to Rhodes and Colossus, and in 2017 he started a three-year period abroad, initially with the state-of-the-art in Romania, then with Grindavik in Iceland and the 2019-20 season in Spain with Koule.
In 2020 he returned to Greece for Colossus, followed by four seasons in the Elite League with Charilao Trikoupi Messolonghi, Espero Lamia and Hercules (two seasons). With Hercules’ team, he won the GBL last May at the Elite League final in Karditsa.
