The new Volvo XC70 SUV is the first Plug-in Volvo Cars Hybrid Autonomy. It offers fully electric autonomy of more than 200 km according to CLTC test cycle-the greatest autonomy of any plug-in hybrid Volvo to date.
Combining the latest technology, advanced safety and Scandinavian design, the new XC70 is a perfect choice for families oriented to a more comfortable and relaxed lifestyle, without compromises in performance and overall capabilities.
Based on the SMA (Scalable Modular Architecture), the new Volvo Cars platform for plug-in of high autonomy, the new XC70 represents an important addition to the company’s product line. It was designed to respond to the growing demand for plug-in hybrids of greater autonomy, especially in China, where customers can now proceed with pre-orders. Volvo Cars is also planning to bring the car to Europe to a next stage.

The XC70 is equipped with a fast charging technology that allows it to charge from 0% to 80% in just 23 minutes. In addition, its two -way charging feature enables it to use its battery as a power bank to supply other devices, such as devices for external use and camping.
With its high electrical autonomy and rapid charge, the XC70 offers driving economy and zero emissions in most of your daily commuting. The energy -efficient internal combustion engine adds the flexibility needed for longer trips, allowing you to drive for over 1200 km without the need for charging or refueling.
Modern Scandinavian Design
Designed to provide solutions, the Volvo XC70 is a contemporary expression of the Scandinavian design heritage of the company. Its dynamic appearance and distinctive features exude calm confidence and rational simplicity. Sculptured lines run through the front to back, while the slightly sloping roof and the accentuated shoulders give it a robust and dynamic appearance.
At the front, a closed mask – reference to the purely electric Volvo – shield -likes combined with an active mask closure that is automatically adjusted, optimizing aerodynamics, air conditioning in the cabin and cooling. This feature helps to improve energy efficiency and extends autonomy.

The XC70 is aimed at all who appreciate both comfort and performance. With large wheels, increased ground distance and the ability to drive all wheels (AWD), the car is also ready for more difficult road conditions.

The XC70 Infotainment Smart Infotainment System is accompanied by everything needed for a modern in-car experience, including digital services, such as artificial intelligence voice assistant that facilitates calls to friends and family, controls car functions and searches for information online.
The XC70 is equipped with a clear 12.3 -inch driver display and with a large independent 15.4 -inch central display with a horizontal orientation, which shows what you need when you need it. The horizontal layout allows the driver to see a large navigation map and at the same time provides space for other important functions, making multi-tasking intuitive and effective. In addition, a 92-inch head-up display of augmented reality is included in the optional equipment, offering an even more exciting experience in the cockpit.
For additional practicality, many of the car functions, such as cabin pre-clutate, can be controlled remotely, using the Volvo Cars app.
With built -in Safe Space Technology
Equipped with Safe Space Technology, the Volvo XC70 is designed to keep people safe and make them feel safe on every route.
With advanced tracking technology, which includes radar, cameras and sensors, the XC70 can constantly monitor the surrounding area and support the driver, helping to avoid conflicts or to melt their impact. It is also accompanied by safety functions that help detect people around the car, in urban conditions with high circulation. For example, Door Opening Alert was designed to help drivers and passengers avoid opening their doors to the bicyclists.
For a relaxed driving experience, the XC70 also offers smart driver support elements, such as automatic power change, Park Pilot Assist and active navigation support.
The production of the new XC70 has already been launched and the car is now available for pre -order in China.
