Since Saturday, September 13, Athens has been a permanent 24 -hour urban transport operation every Saturday.
OASA now establishes the operation of the subway (lines 2 and 3), the tram (T6 and T7 lines) as well as selected bus lines on a 24 -hour basis, covering neuralgic points of the basin.
This initiative enhances the overall experience of traveling to the city, offering a safe and reliable audience at all times of the day. It is, moreover, an important step towards upgrading urban transport services and boosting Athens extroversion.
The new service enhances the overall travel experience in the city, providing safe and reliable movement all hours of the day and night. At the same time, it supports tourism, entertainment and economic activity, upgrading the image of Athens as a European metropolis.
Employees in all media had a catalytic role in the transition from pilot implementation to permanent operation, who, with professionalism and a sense of responsibility, supported the venture.
