A case that began as a “simple” embezzlement of a rented vehicle is evolving into a scandal with dimensions shocking Rhodes.

At the center is a young woman from Rhodes with a spectacular presence on social media, who is accused of being involved in a drug possession case.

The case took a new turn today when her mother was voluntarily presented to the police and arrested, giving a new dimension to investigations. The daughter was arrested shortly afterwards and referred to the regular investigator for further while her mother was released.

From the embezzlement to the discovery

It all started on August 29, 2025, when an employee of a large vehicle rental company filed a lawsuit for embezzlement. According to the lawsuit, the vehicle had been leased by the young woman, who not only had not paid 484 -euro rents, but had not returned it, despite repeated nuisances.

The car was finally identified on September 11th in a central part of Rhodes by a company spokesman, who immediately alerted the authorities. The intervention of the DIAS team He revealed that the case was not limited to a mere embezzlement.

During the interior of the vehicle, police found findings that shocked: two packages with a total gross weight of 9.27 grams of pink cocaine, four precision electronic scales, and 100 euros in cash. The car also found a driver’s license belonging to another woman.

The case is handled by the lawyers of Mr Stelios Alexandris and Polyxeni Hatzigiannis.

The main defendant has in recent years managed to build an image of impressive and cosmopolitan personality on social media. Her shiny snapshots had made her a local influencer. However, behind the filters and digital glow it seems that another reality was hidden.

The fact that the cocaine found is pink, a rare element for the Greek market raises questions about origin and trafficking networks.
