By 1.5 to 2 additional salaries per year will increase the salaries of the executives of armed forces and of their security bodies in the coming months, as measures announced by the government in favor uniform. Increasing earnings, which, according to financial staff executives, has been the largest for at least 20 years.
Changes to special salaries
The first increase, according to ertnews.gr, will be seen in the payroll of October, that is, next month, when the reformed special salaries will be applied for the first time. Armed Forces executives are expected to see their earnings grow, on average, by 145 euros each month, while police, fire brigade and port workers are estimated to earn 111 euros per month.
It is noted that the establishment and granting of the horizontal danger allowance, starting with July, which means in three months the average salaries will have seen his monthly salary increase by more than 200 euros.

The next “station” is January when the tax reform announced by the Prime Minister at the TIF will be activated. The income tax rate will be reduced by two points to the three steps between 10,000 and 40,000 euros, reducing tax deductions for employees and pensioners in the middle.
Specifically, the rate for individual income between 10,000 and 20,000 euros will be reduced to 20%, compared to 22% today. In the step of between 20,000 and 30,000 euros, taxation will be reduced from 28% to 26%, while those who receive 30,000 to 40,000 euros will see the rate falling to 34%, instead of 36% currently in force.
Even greater will be the benefits of families with children, as they will have additional taxation depending on the number of children. However, the young people will be particularly won: those up to 25 years old are exempt from tax for up to 20,000 euros, while for the age group up to 30 years the taxation for this step will be 9%.
Taxation for young people directly concern the armed forces and security forces executives, as graduates of productive schools usually enter the labor market early before reaching the age of 25. Therefore, they will enjoy the tax benefits for more years of their working life.
But the elderly executives will see monthly deductions to decline, thereby increasing their real salary, with even greater benefits if they have dependent children.
Examples for young uniforms

Lieutenant, who is the first grade received by the graduates of the Evelpidon School, up to 25 years old: he will see between October and January his net earnings going from 1,151 per month to 1,352, that is, he will have an increase of 201 euros. This is equivalent to more than 2,400 euros a year.
If he is between 26 and 30 years old, he will go from € 1,199 net to 1,395 euros, that is, he will see improvement of his salary by 196 euros per month, ie almost 2,400 euros a year.
In the case of the police. 22 -year -old Archbishop, a newly appointed graduate of the Police School, up to 25 years: he now receives a net of 947 euros, but his earnings increase to 1,040 in January, so he will see an increase of 93 euros per month, ie about 1,100 euros more a year.
The new increase in basic salary
The fourth increase for nine months for nine months will come in April, when a regular increase in the minimum wage, which now covers the State, will be given.
