Children’s Hospital Commander: “Doctors never administered ketamine to Georgina”

by

“Doctors have nothing to do with the ketamine substance given to Georgina”said the director of the Children’s Hospitals, Manolis Papasavvas, reacting to the allegations of Roula Pispirigou.

Mr. Papasavvas stated characteristically: “Our doctors have never administered ketamine to Georgina, either as such or as an ingredient in any other proprietary medicinal product.”.

The announcement read by Manolis Papasavvas in more detail:

Regarding reports that take place in the last 24 hours that during the treatment of the patient Georgia Daskalaki in our Hospital, he received, from our medical or nursing staff, the drug substance “ketamine”, we confirm that this substance was never administered to the little patient. either as such or as an ingredient in another proprietary medicinal product “.

The accused had claimed that the substance had been administered by the doctors of the hospital and had asked to be investigated why and how, with her lawyer referring to a possible “medical error”.

More specifically, in her memo, she had claimed that the substance was given to the 9-year-old due to a medical error, which caused the death of the child.

According to the accused, if the child had received a quantity of ketamine, it should have ended in 20 minutes, according to what the doctors report. Thus, according to the main claim of Roula Pispirigou, it is clear that she has nothing to do with the incident, since the child finally ended up after 40 minutes.
