In the dismantling of a criminal organization whose members had “ruined” houses in various areas of Attica, using the employment method, the Greek Police proceeded.

According to ELAS, in the context of a coordinated police operation implemented by the Piraeus Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Directorate, with the assistance of police officers of the existing prosecution and delineation of crimes and OPEC, in the area of ​​Agios Ioannis, 46, Three additional members have also been identified and sought.

The detainees are accused of setting up and participating in a criminal organization committed by distinguished thefts, committed and attempted, on a continuous and professional, as well as for money laundering.

How did they act

According to police, the organization had been set up at least since March 2025, with a clear hierarchy and roles allocation. The 46 -year -old leader, who maintained his residence in Piraeus as a “base”, coordinated the movements of the members and set the goals.

The perpetrators were moving with two leased vehicles; one was used by the “bouquets” who invaded the homes and removing jewelry and money, while the second was impressed by “tsiliadors” who oversees the premises and alerted the cooperatives in the event of a police presence.

What was found in investigations

During the surveys conducted in the houses of the perpetrators, jewelry, clothing used in theft, business telephone devices and one of the vehicles used to approach and escape were identified and confiscated.

5 cases were solved

Five cases of burglaries and theft has so far been resolved by the pre -trial investigation in areas of Piraeus, St. Panteleimon and St. Barbara.

It is worth noting that the detainees had previously been concerned with the authorities for similar offenses.

The four defendants were taken to the competent prosecutor, and the investigation is continuing to identify and arrest the other members of the organization.
