A victim of ruthless robbers fell on Sunday night, a professional in a village in Gortynia, who is also active in Ilia. The perpetrators – probably foreigners – five in number, tied and tortured the victim for about one and a half hours, deducting a very large amount of money and jewelry.
In the Tripoli Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Department, it has sounded an alarm to identify the perpetrators who have been methodically moved in a remote area, where they are well aware that there is no frequent police presence and that they have many escape routes either to Arcadia, or to Ilia.
How did the robbery became
The perpetrators approached the victim’s business at about nine in the evening. With the features covered they attacked the businessman and tied him to a chair inside his home, next to the business.
The perpetrators immediately moved and destroyed the security system, the cameras and the recorder, while taking care not to leave anywhere.
Holding the professional for one and a half hours, they searched everywhere at home to find the safe from which they removed quite a large amount of money and jewelry.
At the same time they destroyed the phone cables and took the victim’s cellphone.
The robbers left shortly after eleven in the evening, and shortly thereafter the professional managed to solve and call for help, shocked by what had happened and what he faced for quite some time against the robbers.
Officers from the Tripoli Crimes Prosecution and Criminal Criminal Department arrived in the village on Monday morning and tried to gather what the perpetrators left behind in order to investigate the case, which has caused a sensation in the area of ​​Gortynia and Ilia, where the professional is also active.
