Ford Pro is making a strong presence at this year’s Supply Chain & Logistics* exhibition with a complete, electrified range that meets the modern needs of professional transport and the supply chain. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to see up close the latest Ford Pro business models, capable of offering solutions that increase productivity, reduce total cost of ownership and improve the user experience through advanced connectivity technologies and support services. From everyday urban deliveries to demanding missions across the supply chain, Ford Pro puts reliability, efficiency and sustainability at the center.
At the heart of this year’s presence are the all-electric E-Transit Van, E-Transit Custom and E-Transit Courier, designed to cover different missions with the common denominator of high efficiency. The E-Transit Van is aimed at small and large businesses looking for premium transport capabilities with low operating costs and flexible body configurations. The E-Transit Custom perfectly complements the needs of any business with impressive all-electric range and next-generation connectivity that supports smart digital services and efficient fleet management. The E-Transit Courier stands out for its practicality and ease of use in the city, offering a maximum loading space of 2.91 m3 that allows two Europallets to be transported at floor level, making “last mile” deliveries faster and more efficient.
At the Ford Car Center stand at this year’s Supply Chain & Logistics show, visitors will also see the popular Ranger Raptor and the Ranger Plug-In Hybrid – the only plug-in pick-up on the market. The Ranger Raptor represents the top off-road version of the Ranger range, with sophisticated four-wheel drive, specially tuned suspension and advanced driving programs that offer confidence and control on any terrain. Next to it, the new Plug-In Hybrid version of the popular Ranger features a 2.3 EcoBoost petrol engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, 75 kW electric motor and a lithium-ion battery with a useful capacity of 11.8 kWh. This set produces a combined 281 hp and a peak torque of 697 Nm, offering at the same time incomparable economy with an average consumption of 3.4 lt/100 km (in the hybrid program with a charged battery) and the possibility of purely electric movement with zero emissions up to 50 km. With a payload of up to 800kg, a towing capacity of up to 3,500kg, an e-4WD system with short/long ratios and a lockable rear differential, it remains 100% Ranger, without compromise, meeting both professional needs and demanding outdoor activities.
