Mr. Georgantas, after acknowledging the problem of price increases and rising production costs, referred to the government’s aid so far in the primary sector.
“It has already been announced that more than 200 million euros are being implemented at the moment, either by subsidizing the oil that has already been reduced by 0.15 euros at the pump, or by returning it to the farmers in October based on the crop declarations that will be “either with the adjustment clause which is covered to a very large extent by the state,” he said, while announcing an amendment which, as he said, provides “in the coming days to give about 50 million euros for the purchase of animal feed to farmers”.
