From the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate, of the Organized Crime Directorate, a criminal organization, whose members were active in the trafficking of narcotic substances, was dismantled in the wider area of ​​Piraeus.

For the case, three citizens, members of the organization, aged 49, 46 and 40, were arrested, while in the context of the investigations, a 22-year-old citizen was also arrested, who was arrested in the Piraeus area for possessing a package of cocaine, with a gross weight of 48 grams, which he had obtained earlier from the 40-year-old.

The use of information was preceded, while after appropriate checks and cross-checks and the creation of a profile of those involved (profiling), their criminal activity was certified, as well as their role in the organization:

The 40-year-old acted as the director of the organization, while he had also taken over the coordination of the actions of the other members, the finding of suppliers and customers, the receipt and safekeeping of the profits, as well as the reformulation and trafficking of the drugs.
The 49-year-old man was responsible for providing the space for the storage and concealment of the weapons, drugs and profits (kavaza), using as a cover a workshop – motorcycle body shop, as well as his house, while the 46-year-old man was responsible for the safekeeping and transportation of the drugs, as well as, as the case may be, their trafficking.
In a physical search, as well as searches carried out in a house and workshop – body shop, the following were found and seized:

3,870.5 grams of cocaine,
845.4 grams of cannabis,
Five narcotic tablets “ECSTASY”,
air rifle,
49 cartridges,
glop,
Two I.X.E. cars,
A motorcycle,
6,560 euros,
Four mobile phones,
Two wireless cameras
Safe with three keys.
It is noted that one of the defendants has been arrested in the past – among other things – for criminal organization and drug law violations, while restrictive conditions have been imposed on him.

Those arrested are taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
