THE with another innovative show that is expected to be broadcast in the next period, sheds light on recent Greek history, preparing an original production of six episodes with the Stories of Savvopoulos.
This special tribute focuses on the discography of the great composer, presenting ten of his iconic records, which influenced and shaped Greek musical history and beyond.
Dionysis Savvopoulos tells stories that marked his life, through which his songs were “born”. Moments and persons that inspired him, recording scenes, successes and difficult moments. Six total “eras” of musical creation and history.
In the special way he describes, mixing myth with reality, he talks about the lives he lived, the people he met, his songs that were loved and left their indelible stamp. At some moments, with Pavlos Tsimas in front of him, who presents the tribute, he picks up his guitar and with his melodious voice, performs songs that have been loved by generations and generations in Greece, but also abroad.
The visual piece has his signature Alexis Kiritsopouloufrom the beginning a fellow traveler and friend of Savvopoulos, with works he designs especially for this tribute, which will also come to life through animation.
The show SAVVOPOULOS – “LONG PLAY” is a SKAI signature production – one of many to follow, all of high standards and the result of persistent and serious journalistic research.
