Tension and panic prevailed late on Tuesday night (28/10/25) in a nightclub in the center of Patras, when a wild episode broke out between patrons.

According to information from thebest.gr, it all started when an unknown man got involved in a fight with a 24-year-old customer. A 31-year-old foreigner, known to the city authorities, also intervened in the episode, who attacked the young man, punching him in the face and throwing him unconscious to the ground.

The tension came to a head when, in front of dozens of patrons, the 31-year-old pulled out a pistol, cocked it and pointed it at the unconscious 24-year-old. Cooler bystanders intervened immediately, preventing the use of the weapon and avoiding the worst.

The Police were immediately informed and men of the Immediate Action managed to locate and arrest the perpetrator. From the subsequent search of his home, a small amount of cocaine, metal handcuffs and wireless transceivers were located and confiscated.

It is worth noting that the 31-year-old had previously been deported from the country, while he was on parole for a drug case.

A case file was filed against him for dangerous bodily harm, violations of the laws on weapons and drugs, while the authorities continue the investigation to identify the person who initially participated in the fight.

The 24-year-old injured man was taken to the “Agios Andreas” hospital, where he was given the necessary medical care and left a little later.
