It was investigated by the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Markopoulos – Mesogaia robbery with a “taser” electrical discharge device at a petrol station that took place early on Monday (27-10-2025) in the area of ​​Markopoulos.

For the case, a case file was filed against a 23-year-old citizen, who was arrested on Monday afternoon (27-10-2025) in the area of ​​Markopoulos, for robbery with accomplice, violation of the law on addictive substances and on weapons, while the case file also includes his accomplice who is wanted.

An appropriate evaluation and utilization of informational and pre-investigative evidence preceded, from the further analysis of which their involvement in the robbery in question emerged.

In particular, in the early hours of Monday (27-10-2025), the arrested person together with his accomplice entered a petrol station in the Markopoulos area, having covered their features and with the threat of using a taser, took a sum of money from the employee and then escaped.

It is noteworthy that in order to prevent the employee from informing the Police in time, they removed both his mobile phone and the company’s telephone device.

From a search carried out at the 23-year-old’s home, the following were found and confiscated:

  • the electrical discharge device and clothing used in the commission of the robbery;
  • pepper spray,
  • trace amount of cannabis,
  • magazine,
  • multitude of mobile phone devices,
  • gun storage and transport case,
  • metal part of a firearm (breech) and
  • -33- cartridges.

As it emerged from the preliminary investigation, the 23-year-old has previously concerned the authorities for similar crimes.

The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
