Ferrero recalls Kinder chocolates in Greece after salmonella cases abroad

Ferrero makes a voluntary precautionary recall of specific batches of Kinder chocolate products in Greece that have been produced in Belgium, after cases of salmonella abroad.

THE ΕΦΕΤ was informed by the Early Warning System for Food and Feed (RASFF), regarding the preventive recall of specific batches of Kinder Schokobons products of 46 gr & 125 gr and Kinder Surprise maxi of 100 gr, due to the possible presence of salmonella.

Specifically, these are the products with batch numbers:

Consumers who have purchased the specific batches of the above products are invited not to consume them and to contact the customer service department of the company “Ferrero International SA Greece MEPE” at the email address [email protected].

EFET has also been informed about the preventive recall of these products by the company Ferrero International SA Greece MEPE.

EFET carries out relevant audits and monitors the development of the issue in cooperation with the European Commission.
