The dates for the end of classes in schools and the beginning of the national exams were announced by the Ministry of Education.
The Press Office of the Ministry of Education and Religions announces earlier this year, aiming at the optimal planning of the educational community, the following dates:
Completion of kindergarten – primary schools: June 15, 2022
– Completion of high school courses: May 30, 2022
– Completion of courses of all grades of general and vocational day and evening high schools: May 20, 2022
– Start of nationwide day and evening high school exams: June 3, 2022
Commencement of nationwide examinations for day and evening vocational high schools: June 2, 2022.
Determining the program for conducting the Panhellenic Examinations general education courses and guidance groups of the last class of General Lyceums (GEL) of the year 2022, as follows:
The exam start time is set at 08:30 am, common for day and evening Lyceum candidates. Candidates must arrive at the examination halls by 08:00 am. The duration of examination of each course is three (3) hours. The exam material and the topics of the exams are common for all the candidates of day and evening GEL.
Determining the program for conducting the Panhellenic Examinations general education and specialty courses of the last class of Vocational High Schools (EPAL) year 2022, as

The start time of the exam is set at 08:30 a.m. Candidates must arrive at the examination halls by 08:00 am. The duration of examination of each course is three (3) hours, except
specialty course: Architectural Plan, for which the duration of the examination is four (4) hours. The exam material and exam topics are common to all candidates for daily and
evening EPAL.
The definition of the program of the Panhellenic Examinations Special Courses and Music Courses for admission of candidates to Departments and Schools of Higher Education, for which examination is required in them, as follows:
Candidates must come to the examination halls:
- until 08:00 a.m. for courses with exam time 08:30 a.m.,
- until 09:30 a.m. for the course with an examination time of 10:00 a.m.
- until 16:00 p.m. for the course with exam time 16:30 p.m. and
- until 12:00 p.m. for the course with exam time 12:30 p.m.
The duration of the examination for the courses:
– of foreign languages and Harmony is three (3) hours,
– of the Drawings (Free and Linear) is six (6) hours,
– of the special course “Test of Musical Acoustic Abilities” is about twenty (20) minutes.
– for the music course “Music Performance and Interpretation” the examination of vocal or organic music lasts 2 ́ to 6 ́ minutes for each candidate.
– for the music course “Music Perception and Knowledge”, the examination in the subject of Music Perception lasts 30 minutes, while the examination in the subject of Music Knowledge lasts 2 minutes
hours.
As deadline for conducting the Health Examination and Practical Test of the candidates (GEL and EPAL) for admission to the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Science (TEFAA) acad. year 2022-23 we define the interval from Wednesday 15-6-2022 until Tuesday 28-6-2022.
