The shooting of the Hollywood movie “The Bricklayer” that takes place in the city continues for the second day in Aristotelous Square, in Thessaloniki.

The shooting in Aristotelous square started yesterday. The speech of the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, played by the well-known actor Akis Sakellariou, was in progress.

His speech, which took place amid protests, was about the CIA and their involvement in the country’s affairs. During his speech, an assassination attempt was made against the minister.

The plot of the movie

In “The Bricklayer” someone blackmails her CIA killing foreign journalists, making it look like the Agency is responsible. As the world begins to unite with the United States, the CIA recalls its top – but also revolutionary – agent, forcing him to face his adventurous past as he uncovers an international conspiracy.

The screenplay is written by Hanna Weg (Septembers of Shiraz) and Matt Johnson (Into the Blue).

Directed by Renny Harlin, who has directed “Die Hard 2”, “Cliffhanger” and “Long Kiss Goodnight”, among others.

Bricklayer will be played by Aaron Eckhart and Nina Dobrev will be at his side.
