Dozens of fines for countering a traffic jam on the beach

A barrage of checks at Paraliaki (Poseidonos Avenue – Athens – Sounio – Vouliagmeni Avenue) was carried out by the Attica Traffic Directorate. • 1 for improper use of a mobile phone while driving,
• 1 for not using a seat belt,
• 1 uninsured vehicle,
• 1 for deprivation of a driving license and
• 4 for non-supply with effective muffler.

In addition, 34 pairs of license plates and an equal number of vehicle licenses were removed, as well as 53 driving licenses.
