The joint decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance and the Minister of National Defense was posted today in Diavgeia (at 11:22:45 am), which expands the cases in which the monthly salary of the military personnel of the Armed Forces serving is not cut. in Cyprus.
According to the amendment of no. Φ.843 / 9/30881 / Σ.6172 / 12-4-2018, the relevant compensation is not reduced in the following cases:
a. Normal leave (pre-existing), short-term absence leave, routine sick leave (pre-existing), radiation protection permit, special licenses for medically assisted reproduction, special leave due to illness of children and relatives and leave due to death of a relative
b. Issuance of other leave of absence with remuneration of the officers of the Armed Forces provided in no. Φ.400 / 34/292616 / Σ.4753 / 31-8-2016 joint decision of the minister and the deputy minister of National Defense (ΒΔ 2808) (s.s. “Regulation of the types of licenses of the military personnel of the Armed Forces, the categories of eligible personnel, the conditions, the duration, as well as any other necessary issues for their assignment to the military personnel of the Armed Forces “and do not imply the removal of the executive from the force of the unit where he serves, as long as their total duration the thirty calendar days per year.
c. Travel to Greece for service or training up to thirty calendar days per year (pre-existing) and
d. Hospitalization in domestic or Cypriot institutions “.
