On Maundy Wednesday will be given the extraordinary allowance of 200 euros to 634,000 low-income retirees.
According to an announcement by EFKA “on Holy Wednesday, April 20, 2022, the accounts of 634,000 low-income pensioners will be credited with the extraordinary financial aid Easter amounting to the amount of € 200.
The financial support will be credited to the bank accounts of retirees with a maximum annual individual taxable income of up to 7,200 euros (600 euros per month) and an annual family taxable income of up to 14,400 euros.
Specifically, it will be paid to those who in March 2022 receive:
- permanent or temporary main pension or advance payment of main pension due to old age, disability or death,
- pre-retirement benefit,
- disability benefits paid by the electronic national social security body (e-EFKA),
- pension benefits of par. 3 of article 4 of law 4387/2016 (AD 85).
Retirees (beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries) of the special financial support will have the opportunity of personalized information through a special platform that will be put into operation on the website of e-EFKA (www.efka.gov.gr) in the option: “electronic services” for ” pensioners “on the day of payment. The title of the service is: Checking the right to emergency financial support Easter 2022.
Users will enter the system using taxis codes and will be able to see on the screen in real time the reason for rejection (after an audit carried out by AADE).
The reasons for rejection are the following:
1. Your individual income is greater than € 7,200
2. Your total family income is greater than € 14,400
3. You are a Resident Abroad
4. The value of your real estate is greater than € 200,000
5. The VAT number may belong to the deceased. Contact EFKA
6. No cleared statement was found until 31/03/2022 for the TIN
It is pointed out that regarding the objections that had been submitted to [email protected] and concerned the extraordinary financial support of 250 euros paid on December 29, 2021, their review was completed in cooperation with AADE, they were rejected in their entirety (except for a few cases of pensioners with wrong IBAN) and citizens will be able to see on the same platform the reason for rejection.
